Many people struggle with life's ups and downs, but you don't have t.o journey alone.

Counseling can help you to feel better.

It can help you figure out what is affecting your mood
so you can enjoy life again.

As you read this you might be feeling like things in your life need to get better, but so much has happened, you are not sure where to start.  You might be feeling that too much has happened in your life; too many wrong choices, too many missed opportunities, too many mistakes. Too many ________________(you fill in the blank).

You may find yourself going over and over things your mind that did not work out? Or maybe you are worrying about what might happen in the future and it is making it increasingly harder to concentrate.  The winding road of life can be full of many obstacles that can affect our mood. Sometimes, we can't pinpoint the reason why we feel the way we do.

Do your  feelings stop you from enjoying your life?

Are your friends and family telling you that they are concerned about you because you seem angry, tired or sad most of the time? Do you feel like they don't understand you or what you are going through? You may find that it is getting more difficult to make it though the day and you find yourself avoiding others, hiding your feelings, sleeping, drinking or using drugs. Your life may seem like it is spinning out of control, but counseling can help you figure out what might be affecting your mood, help you to develop healthy coping skills, and provide you with non-judgemental support during this time in your life.

You may feel that if you could just get one specific thing in your life to change, than everything would be okay.  It is healthy to seek help when things in life are not going the way we want them to. This might mean talking to family or friends, looking for help through online do-it-yourself websites, or self-help books. You may even turn to activities such as shopping, substance abuse, affairs, or eating to escape your feelings, but none of these things truly help and could cause you more harm.  I can help you sort out your feelings, show you healthier ways to care for yourself and work with you to create a personalized plan of action that will help get you feeling better.
